Based on the Hollywood blockbuster movie of the same name, KING KONG - THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD, an epic classic, has been transformed by PLAYTECH software provider into this fun-packed, five-reeled slot.

You will recognise all of the characters from the 2005 Universal Studios movie. The graphics are immaculate and crystal clear with some interesting special features and bonus rounds.

Symbols include just the main characters such as the famous Naomi Watts and Jack Black, as well as KING KONG himself looking rather angry, (you should be able to tell the difference between the last two mentioned). Other lower-valued symbols consist of basic numbers and letters from 10 through to A.

The sound effects accompany the game perfectly as you spin to win. Spinning in five of the WILD symbols will see you instantly rewarded with a TOP JACKPOT PRIZE of 3000 coins. This game is unique because there are two different standard play modes. You will find yourself switching from the JUNGLE MODE to the BIG CITY MODE as you progress through the game.

Basically, the locations are different with each mode, and so are the bonus games. Once a SCATTERED SPECIAL FEATURE has come to an end, you will automatically be transferred to the other mode. The ‘Jungle Mode’ offers the STICKY WILD RESPINS and the SKULL ISLAND BONUS. The ‘Big City Mode’ has EXPANDED WILD RESPINS and the CITY TOWER BONUS FEATURE GAME.

The game has SCATTER SYMBOLS, which are the KING KONG LOGOS and also WILD SYMBOLS - these are the image of KING KONG. Apart from the lack of free spins and multipliers with this slot, the game certainly makes up for it in other areas.

When playing in the jungle mode, there are two bonus features, the first being the WILD JUNGLE RESPINS FEATURE. You will be given three respins. Each WILD that appears will be frozen in its place and will combine with other symbols to generate line wins until the end of the feature. Also you have the fun SKULL ISLAND BONUS ROUND.

This special feature is a PICKING round where you will be transported away from the reels to the SKULL ISLAND MAP. Try to choose three of a kind. You will be awarded more for picking three King Kong’s. The features are very similar in the Big City Mode with some minor differences.

The wild symbols are stacked on different reels during the respins to also substitute other symbols and combine to make huge line wins. The other bonus feature (CITY TOWER BONUS FEATURE) will see King Kong at the top of the Empire State Building. These are some clever little graphics here. Your objective is to knock planes out of the sky as they fly around you. The more you hit, the bigger your prize will be. This feature is triggered when three or more of the KING KONG LOGOS appear anywhere on the reels (the same way that the bonus feature is triggered in the jungle mode.

This slot is action-packed and will keep you playing for hours. There is nothing negative to say about it so just hunt it down as soon as you can and start spinning to join in the fun and see what all the fuss is about.
