Golden Nugget
The graceful decor of the Golden Nugget subtly unites the senses in comfort and elegance. From the splendor of the main lobby to the serenity of the guest rooms to the opulence of the casino, guests at the Golden Nugget experience a world-class destination resort unlike any other in Las Vegas.
"When guests walk into the Golden Nugget, they leave the rest of the city behind them -- they know they are at a luxury resort," said Maurice Wooden, president of Golden Nugget.
Striking Exterior
Set amidst the flash and swirl of neon in the Fremont Street Experience, the Golden Nugget stands apart with its gleaming gold and white design accented by miniature white lights, grand umbrella canopies and lofty palm trees. Indicative of the substantial attention paid to detail at the Golden Nugget, the sidewalk around the property is decorated with squares of white granite inlaid with brass.
Just outside the Golden Nugget's door is the Fremont Street Experience, a $70 million entertainment attraction. Surrounded by resorts and covered by a spectacular light canopy, the captivating attraction features a celestial vault 90 feet in height, more than 540,000 watts of stereophonic sound and is equipped with 12.2 million computer-programmed lights. The Fremont Street Experience promenade is one of the most electrifying entertainment destinations in America and a must-see attraction for Las Vegas visitors. Within this lively downtown complex, the Golden Nugget continues to be an elegant Las Vegas landmark.
Grand Entrance
From the porte-cochere of the valet parking driveway, guests step through hand-engraved glass doors onto floors of custom-made, floral print carpet and imported white marble. Soft light from delicate crystal chandeliers fills the registration lobby and mixes with the natural light that filters through a glass wall from the pool terrace. Lustrous brass banisters and lush plant and flower arrangements complement the stately elegance for which the Golden Nugget is known.
The Pool Terrace
After checking in at the white marble registration desk in the lobby, guests are drawn toward the outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, which may be seen from the lobby through a 50-foot wall of glass.
Once seated in one of the lounge chairs or cabanas on the pool terrace, guests may relax beneath the cool shade of lofty palm trees, the soothing warmth of the Las Vegas sun, or the refreshing mist of the computerized "outdoor air conditioning" misting system. White alabaster swan statues and bronze fish sculptures set amidst verdant landscaping add a touch of elegance to the pool terrace.
Overlooking the Golden Nugget pool terrace, beautiful vistas of the Spring Mountains and the lights of the Las Vegas valley are three towers of first-class guest rooms and suites. In the tradition of quality found throughout the Golden Nugget, the rooms provide guests with the most comfortable and elegant accommodations possible featuring classic, neutral color schemes, imported marble floors, new furnishings and other fine antiquities.
“The Golden Nugget is proof that a hotel room can be spacious and richly decorated and still be comfortable and easy to live in,” said Mr. Wooden. “The rooms are bright and cheerful, warm and restful all at the same time.”
Deluxe guest rooms feature warm, sophisticated beige and brown tones intended to relax and refresh guests during their stay. Rooms for non-smokers and rooms equipped for the handicapped are available upon request.
The Spa Tower houses an extraordinary series of one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments, unlike any other accommodations in downtown Las Vegas or on the "Strip." A spiral staircase leads from the spacious living room to the intimate bedroom area. Floor to ceiling windows span the length of the room, providing guests with a captivating view of Las Vegas sights.
The Golden Nugget has six Penthouse Suites, each individually custom-designed in dramatic, sophisticated decor. Furnished with whirlpool baths and fully stocked wet bars, guests are ensured a more than enjoyable stay.
Fine Dining at The Golden Nugget
The entryway to fine dining at the Golden Nugget is the garden courtyard on the second floor of the Spa Tower, where guests will be charmed by the hand-carved wishing well and the white-washed lattice work interwoven with vines.
Stefano's -- The brilliant green, white and red tones of the vivacious Italian countryside coupled with the friendly, romantic hospitality for which Italians are known are all at Stefano's. Waiters singing traditional Italian songs serve fresh seafood, pasta and other northern Italian specialties nightly.
Lillie Langtry's -- The exquisite surroundings, exemplary service and fabulous Cantonese cuisine and steaks at Lillie Langtry's have made this restaurant a Las Vegas institution. Lillie's serves favorite traditional dishes as well as some tantalizing yet less traditional cuisine in an intimate, warmly lit atmosphere.
Zax - An artistic combination of brushed stainless steel, exotic woods and warm colors come together to create a modern, hip, yet comfortable atmosphere in Golden Nugget's newest restaurant. Zax features contemporary continental cuisine in a cozy setting ideal for an intimate dining experience, a relaxed happy hour or a business lunch.
Casual Dining at The Golden Nugget
The Golden Nugget lives up to its standard of uniting elegance with comfort in two informal restaurants.
The Buffet -- In the Las Vegas tradition of "all you can eat" buffets, and in the Golden Nugget ideal of elegance and comfort, The Buffet offers a wide variety of entrees to be enjoyed in intimate dining areas. The room seems to be lit by candles, emitting a warm glow throughout the brass and crystal decor of the restaurant.
Carson Street Cafe -- The Carson Street Cafe has the light and cheerful mood of a European sidewalk cafe. Hand-painted murals of topiary gardens, lush plant and flower arrangements and charming canopies add to the outdoor feeling of the restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 24-hours each day.

Zoom in on the most popular race and sporting events played out larger than life on one of eight 35" monitors or the Big-Screen TV while knocking back a cold one from the full-service bar. When the sun goes down, pick up your pace as The Lounge goes nightclub, staging a variety of vivacious bands.
The Spa and Beauty Salon
Golden Nugget guests enjoy a wide array of luxurious personal services offered at the spa, beauty salon and fitness center.
Relaxation and rejuvenation begin when guests first step into the courtyard, just outside The Spa's entrance, where they are surrounded with the warmth of golden earth tones. Shades of auburn color the ceramic floor tiles and hints of peach tint the pink coral marble columns. The ceiling is arched, as are the doorways, once again imparting elegance and comfort.
The Spa features private facilities for men and women, each providing massage rooms, a eucalyptus steam room, saunas, Swedish showers, a tanning room and a whirlpool spa, all of which pleasantly tantalize the body's senses. “When we created The Spa, we created the concept of quintessential luxury -- indulgence without decadence. We want our guests to relax and be pampered, as they would expect only in a world-class resort,” Mr. Wooden said.
The royal treatment does not end at The Spa; it continues next door in The Beauty Salon. Guests may pamper themselves with professional hair care, facials, manicures and pedicures. The Golden Nugget Spa also offers a special full-body massage called Aromatherapy, in which guests are enveloped in the delicious aroma of scented oils as they are massaged into the body. The salon and spa also highlight unique exfoliation therapies, including the Hydro Active Mineral Salt Glo, a treatment combining stress relief oil, rich mineral sea salt and alpha hydroxy acids that are brushed on the body and massaged to ensure smooth skin. Additionally, the spa features exfoliating facials such as the Deluxe Multi Vitamin Alpha Hydroxy Power Treatment, which ultimately diminishes fine lines and restores elasticity, tone and texture, refining pores and nourishing the skin.
The Fitness Center, which has two rooms full of state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment as well as free weights and Cybex equipment, provides guests with the opportunity to get a complete physical workout during their stay.
